Our (First-Ever) Virtual Employee of the Year Awards Ceremony, was hosted by the Atlanta Federal Executive Board on September 15, 2020 at one o’clock pm. This premier event is held to promote federal employee accomplishments in the Southeast Region. This award ceremony is designed to promote the valuable work being done by the Federal Government in the Southeast, while maintaining a high level of fiscal integrity. This event can boost morale, competitiveness and collaboration amongst agencies in the region.
This year the Keynote Speaker was Ken Corbin, Commissioner, Internal Revenue Service, Wage and Investment Division. A new category honoring the leadership legacy of former Atlanta FEB Executive Director, Ronald J. Stephens was also announced. In his tenure as the Executive Director, Ron provided distinguished and exceptional service to Atlanta federal agencies and the metropolitan Atlanta community.
